A Prayer for Guidance
Almighty God, Your son our Lord Jesus Christ is our Chief Shepherd. Look tenderly upon our community of Ascension. Guide us as we search for a new Rector. May the Holy Spirit govern and lead us in this process. Equip us with your grace and wisdom so that we are able to meet the task before us. Help us to be patient and trust in your plan for our good. May we as a community continue to grow in faith, hope and love. Dispose our hearts, minds and wills to recognize a shepherd after your own heart, that one whom you call to pastoral service for our community; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
